when?
We worship on Sundays at 1200 Ramsdell Road in Traverse City.
8:30 am weekly communion service. This is usually a small group, and the service is about half an hour long, including two songs, a short message from one of the pastors, and communion. Everyone is welcome to take part in everything.
9:30 am is our most traditional service. The pastors usually wear robes. The choir sings an anthem (during the school year). We sing hymns out of the hymnal, with accompaniment from the organ. There's always a sermon. On the first Sunday of every month, we have communion. Everyone is welcome.
11:00 am is a little louder. The band (guitar, drums, and piano) leads music. We do some old hymns, and more newer Christian songs. The words are projected on the front wall. There's always a spoken message, generally from one of the pastors. On the first Sunday of every month, we have communion. Everyone is welcome. If you're not used to church, this might feel the most normal.
Sunday School for all ages is 9:30 am. At 11:00 we also have a junior church time for younger elementary children, following the children's time in worship; also at 11:00 are more adult classes.
